Partnering
Our partnering classes are highly specialized and are offered by invitation only. If you are interested, please speak with a staff member and an audition will be set up for you.
This class is for the advanced dancer. Excellent technique and a strong back are prerequisites. Partnering is an art unto itself. It is about coordination, strength, and timing, as well as dance technique. Partnering is extremely challenging; it takes an excellent dancer to make it look so easy!
The class is taught by Carin VanderMeulen, who is known for her compelling grasp of partnering mechanics and innovative choreography. It also helps that she has an intrinsic understanding of the physics involved in partnering.
To accommodate all of our dancers, we have "floating wooden floors" and specifically for our partnering classes, 15' high ceilings.
